My name is Eneh Joseph and I am a teacher in Port Harcourt Nigeria. I run an outfit SIMCAHRD COMMUNITY which focuses on developing young leaders in Africa. We are organizing the 2nd edition of our empowerment conference for young people – YOU CAN DO MORE [2.0] scheduled to hold on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2018. In this conference, we bring in resource persons to share their wealth of experience with young people and help guide their ambitions.

In 2017, on November 12, we held the 1st edition which was very successful and many of the participants testified that they gained a whole lot of knowledge and new perspectives and approaches to life and to tackling the many problems bedeviling our society.

SIMCAHRD COMMUNITY is committed to providing leadership from Africa. This is our vision and we are working so hard to achieve this by taking leadership development activities and skills to the grassroots. Our name, SIMCAHRD, is an acronym for Success is Mandatory Centre for Advancement and Human Resource Development. Our mission is to leadership development; and we believe it is easier to train the younger generations to become competent leaders than try to change the older generation into good leaders.

I am seeking support to raise up to $3,333 or more, to help host the conference and to equip our creativity studio where we will provide year-round mentorship and empowerment to young people in Port Harcourt and others from other cities in Nigeria.
