SHORT SUMMARY OF PLUGSTUCK.
Founded in 2017, Plugstuck is a creative tech start-up company created to serve the need in Africa for innovation and technology-based solutions to third world problems, starting from Nigeria.

Located in the heart of Obio-Akpor LGA, Rivers State, Nigeria, has incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria and is a member of the Netherlands-Africa Business Council (NABC).

For over 4 years, the mission of Plugstuck has been to provide digital B to B (business to business) and B to C (business to customer) solutions in varying capacities, ranging from Website Development, Mobile Apps, Progressive Web Applications, Digital Marketing, SEO, and Training Programs targeted at young, aspiring content creators, developers, bloggers, and web designers via our brain-children (The Training for the Next Level, Exclusive Blogging Summit, We Are Coding).

WHY OUR CAMPAIGN 'WE ARE CODING 2022' IS VALUABLE TO YOU?
The Nigeria Bureau of Statistics (NBS) says 27.1% of Nigerians are unemployed. With a population of over 200 million, this means 54.2 million Nigerians are out of jobs. Every year, Nigeria produces about 500,000 graduates coming to compete for unavailable jobs.

Unfortunately, a large majority of Nigerian youths are grossly ill-equipped to become a part of solving this problem. No thanks to the Nigerian Institution and the “bunch of job-seeking graduates” it churns out every year.

At Plugstuck, we are passionate about driving development in the African grassroots tech ecosystem with training solutions, committed to training and empowering high school students, graduates, working-class, and professionals with the relevant marketable Internet and Technology (IT) skills.

Our mission is to train a minimum of 630 trainees in this edition of We Are Coding 2022 (#WAC2022) and at least 2,000 trainees per year and equip them with employable technology skills through personalized learning solutions, to get them on the pathway to rendering services and building valuable products.

We Are Coding 2022 is scheduled to be held at Teadro Info Tech, 2nd Floor, 51/76 Stadium Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. It will span a period of 8 weeks+ starting on the 11th of July, 2022 with training held at the venue thrice each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from 10am – 4pm daily.

We also have provision for Online learning on our Youtube Channel and Edmodo Learning Management System.

The timing of this program is apt, seeing that millions of college students are currently idling away at home due to the ASUU (Academic Staff Union of Universities) strike in Nigeria. This program affords them a rare opportunity to acquire essential tech. skills that are sadly not a part of the educational curriculum at the college level.

The planning for this program started in February 2022 with a strong desire to contribute to the grassroots tech space by training interested persons to become skilled with the requisite Internet and Tech, (IT) skills, needed to survive this 21st century, thereby giving them access to global IT opportunities.

We have since then achieved the following;
●       Securing a training center to accommodate 630 participants to use as a venue for the 8 weeks+ periods of the training.

●       Graphic design for our publicity campaign.

●       Sourcing for resource persons to handle the courses we offer.

●       Developing a publicity plan.

●       Branded outfits for our school-to-school publicity.

●       Signed partnership with landing.jobs (Europe) and click up (San Diego, US).

●       Secured Grant Sponsorship of N250,000 (that is 50% discount for 12 participants) from Caih Group.

So far, we have started our publicity campaign and we have a number of interested candidates who have filled out our registration form and joined our social media groups on Whatsapp and Telegram. We share information related to the training program including basic tutorials to spur their interest.

We hold virtual meetings with our prospects every Saturday from 5:00pm to 6:00pm (WAT) to discuss the benefits of the training program, and give advice to those who may have difficulty choosing what courses to take.

We have also introduced our referral program to social media influencers among our prospects, offering a discount on the courses for referring their friends and colleagues.

From the feedback we have gotten so far, their major challenge seems to be lack of funds to enroll, this is true for many of them who are willing to take part but haven’t made any commitment yet.

At the end of We Are Coding 2022, we hope to certify a minimum of 630 trainees armed with sufficient skills to get them started on their chosen IT career paths either as freelancers or full-time employees/interns, with mentoring, and symposiums from our International partners, as well as post-trainee-support from our community to retain the best performing participants at Plugstuck who will create and code real-life products that solves Africa's challenges.

WHAT ARE OUR TRACK RECORDS SINCE WE STARTED TRAINING IN 2018?
●      In 2018, Plugstuck Enterprise executed a website development project with Rivers State Government under the auspices of Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council. (riversstatetraditionalrulerscouncil.com).

●      Since 2018 till date, we have trained and certified over 500 students and trainees from across Nigerian Universities and states, under the guise of Plugstuck's brainchild - TTNL (The Training for the Next Level) and EBS (Exclusive Blogging Summit).

●      From 2018 to date, Plugstuck Web Team has built a myriad of blogs and dynamic websites (over 50) for students, companies, etc.

●      In 2019, Plugstuck Enterprise launched her brainchild, TTNL (The Training for the Next Level) in Port harcourt City, with about 15 participants at the time comprising of working class, entrepreneurs and students. TTNL has since held in Umuahia, Enugu, Lagos etc

●       After a successful Exclusive Blogging Summit in March 2020, Plugstuck Enterprise launched her bloggers’ community in FUTO, Africa Bloggers Forum (ABF), with about 70 participants in attendance and most of the blogs (nenyenwablog.blogspot.com, nemahairs.com, areamediabase.com.ng, etc.) now earning in dollars from Google.

●      In 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, Plugstuck Web Team partnered with Longrich International Team to build a Progressive Web App (globetakersonline.web.app) which serves as a Learning Management System for the online (e-learning) business school, as a solution for the restrictions in offline training at the time.

●      In 2021, Plugstuck registered with Netherlands Africa Business Council (NABC) as a professional member, in a bid to facilitate Plugstuck’s Mission Statement.

●      At the heart of our business is ‘Getting our clients connected and Staying with them for Life’, thus, in 2022, Plugstuck was recommended by one of her clients to handle the website development project (hilalalsalam.ae) for a Real Estate Company in Dubai, UAE.

We have put together a competent team of software developers,engineers and trainers for this purpose, and for less than giveaway rates, we are offering courses.
