While I was serving in Jalingo,Taraba state, I took on a secondary place of assignment. I came across this student named Patrick. He has 2 younger ones and all three have a backlog of debts collectively amounting to over a hundred and fifty thousand naira N150,000 and this is after the school had cancelled some of their debts. They all had to stop going to school for weeks because they lacked the means to continue. Patrick is a very promising chap. Quiet,smart and obedient. It would really be a pity to see him waste away without proper tutoring. Oh! did I forget to mention that he does menial jobs in order to offset some of the fees? Help me keep Patrick in school.
